Wine made from Sangiovese grapes grown on the hills of Rimini, on clay soils. Mons Jovis is aged for 19 months in oak barrels in the caves of Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN). Its name means Monte Giove, the hill on which it was founded Santarcangelo di Romagna. Here was already ancient tradition keep the red wine in the caves of this mountain and the wine was called Sanguis Jovis, a name in the legend you consider origin of the name Sangiovese.
